- Companion Diocese:
The diocese is currently in a one year discernment process with the Diocese of Liberia in Africa. At the next Diocesan Convention in November 2010, it is thought that the Diocese will determine whether this relationship should be continued.
Parishes in the Diocese have relationships with the countries of Russia, Honduras, Liberia and the Dominican Republic and others including the Diocese of Navajoland in America.
- Missionaries from the Diocese:
Drs. Michael and Anita Dohn, serving with SAMS, assigned as medical missionaries in the Dominican Republic. E-mail: DohnFamily@episcopalian.org . Michael was the opening speaker at the GEMN Institute at Kenyon in June, 2006. The work done by his wife and himself is having significant impact in their community, states the Executive Director of the Dominican Republic Development Group.
- Missionaries to the Diocese:
Emmanuel Twesigye was a missioner from Uganda. 815 brought him to the U. S. He teaches at Ohio Wesleyan University.

The Diocese of Southern Ohio has a wide range of interests and activities in World Mission. The pages are filled with information about the ways in which the diocese incorporates the vision of mission to grow as a diocese with the vision to see the world as the venue of mission.
