• Companion Diocese:
• Since 1996 the companion diocese relationship has been with El Salvador (renewed at Convention, November 2003.) For the past nine years a medical mission team has made an annual week-long trip to work with a Salvadoran doctor.
• The chairman of the Companion Diocese committee also takes a group of adults on a pilgrimage to El Salvador every year. Through all of the above activities more and more people in our diocese are feeling a commitment to and share the joy of the relationship.
• There are a number of people in the diocese who are working toward a relationship with the Diocese of Haiti. No specific plans are in place yet.
• Missionaries from the Diocese of Central New York:
• We continue to send a medical mission team to El Salvador every year. A team of doctors, nurses, dentists and sometimes an optometrist visits five villages during a week's time there.
• The Rev. Virginia Doctor serves in Alaska.
• Joanna Philley is currently serving in Mexico with the Young Adult Service Corps.  She is working as an assistant to the bishop there.
