LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS

If you have discerned a call to venture across national and cultural borders for a period longer than six months, GEMN is here to help connect you with supportive resources in the Episcopal Church and help you continue discern God’s call in your life.

The specific tasks of missionaries in the Episcopal Church vary between contexts, but the work is the same: live out the Baptismal Covenant as a coworker in God’s mission to restore all of creation.

Long-term Mission Opportunities for Adults

It is never too late to answer God’s call to go out into the work to participate in God’s work in Christ.  There are number of opportunities in the Episcopal Church for adults to join in God’s mission around the globe.

A good first place to start is your diocese’s mission department.  Not sure what diocese you are in?  You can find your diocese here.

The Episcopal Volunteers in Mission program for adults age 30+ works with dioceses and organizations around the Anglican Communion to offer opportunities alongside fellow Anglicans/Episcopalians as we discover together how to participate in God’s mission.  Learn more about the Episcopal Volunteers in Mission program.
